Our Fleet
At METS Seafood Holdings, we are proud to own and operate two state-of-the-art long-liner Deep Sea Fishing Vessels, METS-I and METS-II. These are the first and only deep-sea long-liner fishing vessels in India, equipped with advanced technology and features to ensure the highest quality and safety of our catch.
METS-I
METS-I is our flagship vessel, with an overall length of over 55 meters and a fish hold capacity of 310 metric tons. It can freeze up to 20 metric tons of fish on board per day, while maintaining temperatures as low as -60 degrees Celsius. This allows us to preserve the freshness and flavor of our fish for weeks, without compromising on the nutritional value or hygiene. METS-I operates from Junglighat fishing base, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and covers a wide range of fishing grounds in the Indian Ocean. It targets various species of tuna, swordfish, marlin, and other pelagic fish, using environmentally friendly and sustainable fishing methods.
METS-II
METS-II is our second vessel, with an overall length of 50 meters and a fish hold capacity of 210 metric tons. It also has the capability to freeze up to 20 metric tons of fish on board per day, and to maintain ultra-low temperatures of -60 degrees Celsius. METS-II operates from the same fishing base as METS-I, with similar target species and methods. It complements METS-I in terms of capacity and efficiency and ensures that we always have a steady supply of high-quality fish for our customers.
